Part Five: Thanksgiving

#17 Reunion
Five years after her father's death, Jeannette has Thanksgiving dinner for her family at her country home. Jeannette is remarried. Her brother is divorced. Her mom is working to get legitimate rights to live in the apartment she is squatting in. The tone of the reunion is that of acceptance, and a shared bond over growing up with a father who was "never boring".

Conclusion:
I really enjoyed this book.  I had no idea people lived like this.  It's pretty amazing that Jeannette Walls ended up being normal and that she has a successful career as a writer.
